Four new ways to earn TinyTokens — and a treasury for every company
Cargo pays, calls pay, friends pay, and companies now have a shared bank. A rundown of the five things that just changed about your wallet — and a heads-up that it's all in beta.
We've been listening to the "where do tokens actually come from?" question. The honest answer used to be "playtime accrual, the job board, and the occasional jury-duty cheque." That list just got a lot longer.
🧪 These features are in beta. They've shipped to production but they haven't been weathered by a few thousand player-hours yet. If something pays out wrong, doesn't pay out, double-pays, or just behaves weird, please file it on the bug tracker so we can fix it.
Knowingly abusing a bug to mint tokens, drain a company bank, farm referrals, or anything similar will result in a ban and a clawback of any tokens earned that way. Report it instead — verified bug reports already pay a QA bounty, so you actually come out ahead by telling us.
Keep starving factories fed, earn tokens
Every successful delivery to a low-stock receiver now pays a flat +10 TinyTokens — no matter the quantity dropped off. Drop a single sunflower or twenty containers, same reward. The round-trip drive is the actual cost, so volume doesn't matter; what matters is that you brought what the factory was starved for.
A receiver is "low-stock" when its input inventory drops below 20% of the peak it's held in the last seven days. The list refreshes constantly and is published live on the new Freight → Low Stock tab. Each card shows the specific cargo a site is starved for — and that's what counts for the bonus. Showing up with fuel when a factory needs pipes doesn't earn anything (the slot wasn't low). Bring what they're actually short on.
Why this design: rewarding random "any delivery" would just incentivize dumping cargo into already-full warehouses. Rewarding specifically what's starved means the bonus goes to the players who are unblocking real bottlenecks in the in-game economy. It's the cleanest signal we have for "you genuinely helped."
There's no claim button and no cooldown — the poller watches inventory deltas and credits the nearest player at the dropoff site. Tokens land in your ledger within a few seconds. You can see your earnings on the tokens page.
Bring a friend, both of you cash in
Every account now has a personal invite link on your account page. Share it. When a new player signs in via Steam through your link and links their Discord, both of you get 500 TinyTokens. When that same player hits one hour of in-game time, you both pick up another 500.
A few obvious sockpuppet patterns get auto-rejected (self-referral, two-account ring); anything else borderline goes to an admin review queue rather than auto-paying. Play it straight and the tokens are automatic. Try to game it — multi-accounting, sharing your own link with an alt — and you'll lose the tokens and the account.
Take a CAD call, take a cut
Every dispatch unit that's still attached at the moment a 911 call closes now earns 10 TinyTokens, provided they were on the call for at least a minute. Run a busy shift, pick up some pocket change. Attach for 10 seconds and bail — get nothing.
Companies now have a treasury
The biggest one. Companies can now hold a shared bank balance, visible on the company page. Any company member can deposit TinyTokens into the bank. Only the leader can withdraw — managers can move money out only by funding gigs.
Which brings us to gigs. When a manager or leader posts a company gig, there's now a "Fund from" picker: their personal balance (the old default) or the company bank. Posters always-already could direct-assign a gig to a specific roster member; combined with bank-funded payouts, you've got an end-to-end loop — corporate treasury → assigned gig → employee paycheck.
What hasn't changed
Playtime accrual still pays the same. The job-board escrow flow is unchanged for personal-funded gigs. P2P transfers, the shop, jury duty, QA rewards — all untouched. The ledger view at your tokens page now has labels and icons for the new transaction kinds; nothing else moved.
Where to find everything
- Your invite link → /account
- Lifetime balance and ledger → /account/tokens
- Low-stock receivers → /freight/low-stock
- Company bank panel → your company's page (members only)
- Bug tracker → /bugs
Good hunting. And if you see something off — tell us, don't farm it.
