Version 1.4.0: The CAD Gets a Full Records System — Reports, Warrants & Citations

TinyTown's dispatch system just grew into a full records-management system. Every department can file reports, police can issue warrants and write citations, and every citizen has a living record — RAP sheets, WANTED flags, and pay-your-fine, all wired into dispatch and Discord.

August 18, 2026

Roleplay in TinyTown just got a serious upgrade. The Computer-Aided Dispatch system you already use for 911 calls has grown into a full records-management system — the paperwork backbone a real department runs on. Officers across all three departments can now file reports, police can issue warrants and write citations, and every citizen has a living record that follows them around town.

Here is everything that landed in v1.4.0.

📝 Reports — for police, fire, and DOT

The single biggest gap in the old CAD: officers had nowhere to actually write anything down. That is fixed. There is one clean report form that adapts to whoever is filing:

  • TPD writes arrest, incident, and field-contact reports with charges pulled straight from the TinyTown penal code — tag each charge as Charged or Convicted.
  • TFD files fire and EMS run reports — patient count, chief complaint, and a disposition (Transported, Treated & Released, Refused, DOA, and more). No charges, just the run.
  • TDOT logs recovery and road reports — tow, impound, road hazard, cleared — using the same subtypes you already use on calls.

File a report straight off a 911 call, or start a fresh one from the Reports desk for a self-initiated stop. Every report lands on the subject's record automatically.

⚖️ Warrants

Police can now issue arrest and search warrants against a named citizen, attach the charges and probable cause, and set an expiry. Active warrants light up a red WANTED banner on the person's record — and a flag in the MDT the moment an officer runs their name. Serve it or recall it when the situation resolves, and every new warrant posts to the dispatch channel with a ping for on-duty officers.

🎫 Citations

For the small stuff, officers can write a citation — pick the violations, set a fine, done. Citizens see their tickets on their own My Citations page and can settle up online. Fines are roleplay-only for now — no TinyTokens change hands yet — so we can balance it before switching on real payments. The whole flow is live and ready.

🚔 The officer's toolkit

All of it ties into the tools you already know:

  • RAP sheets — every citizen's record now shows their reports, charges, convictions, open warrants, unpaid fines, vehicles, and property in one place.
  • The MDT — run a name and see WANTED and unpaid-fine flags inline, with one-click File report and Cite actions right in the results.
  • A new CAD sub-nav — Console, MDT, Reports, Warrants, Citations, and BOLOs are all one click apart.
  • Discord — warrants and citations post live embeds to the dispatch channel, right alongside your 911 calls.

Where to find everything

Not in a department yet? Apply from your account roles — TFD, TDOT, and the racing league are one toggle away, and TPD takes a quick application. See you out there. 🚔🚒🚧
